JoAnn Lilian Kovach

JoAnn Lilian (Dragovits) Kovach, 69, of Bath passed away peacefully on September 6, 2025, at LVH- Hospice in Allentown. Born in Coplay, PA., she was the daughter of the late Joseph J. and Anna (Lebish) Dragovits.

She grew up in Coplay, PA. where she spent most of her life. She was a 1985 graduate of Central Catholic High School. She graduated from Northampton Community College and finished at Penn State in Harrisburg with a degree in accounting. JoAnn attended St. Peter's R.C. Church in Coplay. Her Roman Catholic faith was very important to her.

Most of her career was spent working in retail. She started at Egypt Star Bakery in Whitehall up until her last job at the Vitamin Shoppe where she was the Assistant Manager.

She was an avid coffee drinker. She loved exploring new varieties of flavors no matter what time of day or year. JoAnn was a lifelong fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and the Phillies baseball team.

JoAnn owned a cat named Baba whom she shared with her son, Jeremy. She loved Baba and even after his passing thought of him often. She was a great mother and will be sorely missed by her only son, Jeremy M. Kovach and her brother Joseph T. Dragovits.

There will be a memorial visitation on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at St. Peter's R.C. Church 4 S. 5th Street, Coplay, PA. 18037 from 9-10 a.m. A mass of Christian burial will follow in the church at 10 a.m. Interment to follow mass at the church cemetery.
