Nancy Jane Adam

Nancy Jane (Lauer) Adam, 88, of Allentown, passed away on February 25, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest. She was the wife of Richard D. Adam, Sr., with whom she shared 30 years of marriage prior to his passing in September of 2006.

Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late James Lauer and Mary (Kemmerer) Lauer.

She was a member of the former Trinity Church in Allentown. Nancy was a custodian for St. Luke's hospital for 10 years before retiring in 2006.

She loved dancing, roller skating and bowled in several leagues. She was a loving and kind person who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish fond memories include her son Joseph Berutti and Barbara, daughter Tina Handwerk and fiancé Thomas Beslanovits, brother Gary Lauer; sister Star Muschlitz and George; three grandchildren, Eben, Carl, and Colette, four great grandchildren Julian, Sienna, Maddie, and Noah as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings.

There will be a calling period on Thursday, March 5, 2026, from 09:30 – 10: 30 a.m. at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. of Coplay, 327 Chestnut St. A funeral service will immediately follow at 10:30 a.m. in the parlor. Interment to follow funeral service at Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Allentown.
