JoAnn Carol Lang February 20, 1941 – July 16, 2025
JoAnn Carol Lang, age 84, of Lakeville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 16th, 2025, at Northfield Retirement Community Memory Care.
JoAnn lived a life marked by faith, kindness, and service. She devoted her time and heart to her church, teaching Sunday School and summer Bible School, preparing meals for countless events, and serving faithfully at the Mt. Olive Retreat Center for many years. Her greatest joy came from caring for others and spending time with her cherished family.
She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Vern Lang; sons Darrel Danielson, Lee Danielson (Sheryl), and Roger Danielson (Sherry); grandchildren Amber (Mark), Jesse, and Melissa (Zac); brothers Doug (Jenell) Schultz and James (Trish) Schultz; along with nephews, extended family, and friends.
JoAnn was preceded in death by her first husband, Lloyd A. Danielson who died in an automobile accident on May 1, 1966; her daughter, Susan Danielson; her parents, Art and Agnes Schultz; and brother, Gary.
Her legacy of love, faith, and compassion lives on in all who were blessed to know her.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM, Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at Christiania Lutheran Church in rural Lakeville. Visitation will begin at 10:00AM. Interment will be in East Christiania Cemetery, Eureka Township. Pallbearers will be Vernon Lang, Darrel Danielson, Lee Danielson, Roger Danielson, Jesse Danielson and Douglas Schultz.
Memorials are preferred to the donor's choice.
