JoAnn (Farmer) Schultz, 79, of Caseville passed away Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Tuscola County Medical Care Community in Caro with her children by her side. JoAnn was born on July 3, 1946, in Pigeon, to the late William and Wanda (Dufty) Farmer, and was a 1964 graduate of Caseville High School. A caregiver at heart, JoAnn earned a nursing aid certificate and worked as a CNA for McLaren Bay Region, formerly Bay Med, and Country Gardens Assisted Living, as well as supporting her parents, raising four beloved children, and caring for many more people within the community. In her free time, she enjoyed crossword and jigsaw puzzles, playing pool, and watching movies with her family, especially comedies and scary movies. JoAnn loved music, listening to classic rock from the '60s and '70s, and was a beautiful pianist who played at Country Gardens and Scheurer Health. She is remembered as being a passionate and loving woman who made sure everyone was always taken care of.

JoAnn is survived by children Christina (Louis) McCarthy, Jennifer Schultz, Ryan Schultz, and Melinda Schultz; grandchildren Eric McCarthy and William Schultz; and great granddaughter Gracie McCarthy.

The family would like to thank Scheurer Health ER, Covenant Harrison and Tuscola County Medical Care Community's Rehab Department for their exceptional care and love that they gave both our mother and our family in our time of need.

In accordance with JoAnn's wishes, cremation is to take place. The family has chosen to celebrate JoAnn's life in private but wishes that you share her memories with those you love. Memorials may be made to Thumb Animal Shelter in Elkton.
