Joann Voelbel Obituary
Joann L Voelbel “Baldwin”, age 82, passed away on Saturday August 2, 2025, at her home. She was born in Long Island, New York, daughter of the late Louis Baldwin and Estelle Baldwin “Lantz”. She was a resident of Bridgewater, New Hampshire.
Joann worked 30 years for Spear Memorial Hospital. She retired to care for her husband John of 61 years.
Joann loved being with family and friends. She was very talented at crocheting, sewing and needle point.
She was always ready to share a w.o.w. speech (words of wisdom) with the grandchildren or anyone in need. She will be greatly missed.
Joann is survived by her son Douglas A Voelbel and his wife, Diana & their 6 children Douglas Voelbel II, Brianna Coleman, Danielle Giordano, Caoilainn Voelbel, David LaPlante, Sade Miner and five great grandchildren of Joann’s Adaleigh, Zander, Henry, Ellemai, Everett Arelia, Karlie, Kenneth and Daughter Denise Schneider her husband Fred & son Fredi Schneider
The family would like to invite all of Joann's friends to Celebrate her Life at The Purple Pit, 28 Central Square, Bristol, NH 03222 on Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 4 to 7 PM.
We ask that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to Pemi Baker Hospice Home Health in Plymouth, New Hampshire.
