JoAnn Wright passed away Thursday May 22, 2025 at age 89. The Funeral Service will be held Tuesday May 27, 2025 at 2 p.m. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow in Sumner Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers: Bubba Tucker, Steve Tucker, Tommy Tucker, Buck Proctor, Steve Franklin and David Franklin. JoAnn was born in Sumner County to Effie Brown and Robert Oren Wright. She was a Gallatin High School graduate in the class of 1954. JoAnn was a member of Dry Fork Cumberland Presbyterian Church, a beautiful country church that she and her family loved and enjoyed having reunions at. She worked as a switchboard operator for Eaton for 35 years. She is survived by her nephew Jay (Tracy) Wright, niece Glenda Wright, sister-in-law Ruth Wright, her fur baby BaBree, several cousins and many dear friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Effie and Robert Wright, her brothers Gerald Wright, Glenn Wright and James "Doc" Wright, sister Sally Dutton, sister-in-law's Adaline Wright and Mildred Wright, nephew Jeffrey Wade Wright and grandparents Robert Anderson Wright and Penelope Tyree Wright and John Richard Brown and Sarah Jane Hall Brown. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Dry Fork Cumberland Presbyterian Church (174 Dry Fork Creek Road, Bethpage, TN 37022). Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin, 100 E.
