Joanne Pauline Weber Delforge, 90, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2025. She was born on July 24, 1935, to her late parents Joseph and Evangeline (Wanish) Weber in Kellnersville, WI.
She attended St. Joseph’s Catholic grade school, graduated from Mishicot High School in 1953, and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Home Economics/Consumer Education from U.W. Stevens Point in 1957. She taught Home Economics/Consumer Education for 30 years at East High School in Green Bay, WI. She married her husband Milton Clyde Delforge on July 5, 1975, at St. Joseph’s Church in Kellnersville, WI.
Joanne and Milton both enjoyed traveling and genealogy. They combined the two interests by visiting relatives in their ancestral countries of Belgium and the Czech Republic. Joanne had plenty of interest and hobbies on her own, such as trying new recipes to bake, sewing – creative stitchery, making button jewelry, exploring Door County, playing sheep head, doing jigsaw puzzles, volunteering – specifically at LEAVEN for 30 years. She enjoyed sewing for charities, and tutoring reading to first graders. She loved the outdoors, whether it was walking, biking, or golfing. She also had various jobs at St. Thomas More Church.
She is survived by her sister Carol Krauth and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Joanne is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, in-laws Clara and Alvin Delforge, sister and brother-in-law Mary Jane (Charles) Bublitz, brothers in law Joseph Krauth and Stanley Naze, nephew Steven Bublitz.
There will be a visitation from 9am to 11am on Monday December 22, 2025, at St. Thomas More Church 1810 N McDonald St. Appleton WI 54911. The funeral Mass will start at 11. She will be entombed at St. Joseph Cemetery.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Heritage Woods for taking such good care of Joanne.
