Joanne M. Krawczyk

Stonington - Joanne M. Krawczyk, age 59, a resident of Stonington, formerly of Dunstable, Mass., passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family Jan. 2, 2026, after a courageous, nine-month battle with breast cancer. She was the beloved partner of Elaine B. Bogue with whom she

shared 32 wonderful years together.

She was born in Lowell, Mass. May 30, 1966, and was the daughter of the late Frank and Dolores (Gazda) Krawczyk. Joanne was raised in Dracut, Mass. She began her education at St. Stanislaus School in Lowell and went on to graduate with honors from Dracut High School. She earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

During her distinguished career, Joanne was awarded two patents while working at Polaroid and 12 more during her time at Atrium. Over the course of 20 years at Getinge, she advanced from senior mechanical engineer to director of new product development.

An accomplished athlete, Joanne especially loved playing field hockey and ultimate frisbee. She was a talented artist, gardener, avid bird watcher, animal lover, and world traveler. Above all

else, her greatest joy was her large, loving family. They were the center of her world. She found immense happiness watching her nieces and nephews grow, seeing them learn to swim in her pool, taking them on ski trips and many vacations throughout Europe.

In 2013, Joanne and Elaine undertook the restoration of a well-known stone ruin in Stonington. First built in 1825 and destroyed by fire in 1924, the structure had stood as a stone shell for decades before being faithfully rebuilt in 2016 to reflect its original design. Joanne was extremely proud of the house she and Elaine brought back to life, a place they had only recently moved into and lovingly called home.

Joanne's most treasured moments were gathering family together at her home in Dunstable and at the Stone House, surrounded by the people she cherished. Deeply proud of her Polish heritage, she passed down family traditions to future generations. Her favorite holiday to host was Wigilia on Christmas Eve.

In addition to her loving partner, Joanne is survived by her siblings: Susan and Peter Natsios of Dracut, Sharon Krawczyk of Dunstable, Sandra and Earl Mason of Tyngsborough, Mass., Janice and Jack Pinzari of Brentwood, N.H., Joyce and Joe Cancilla of Tyngsborough, Mass. and Michael Krawczyk of Tyngsboro, Mass.? nieces and nephews, Joanna Deveau, Jennifer LeClair, Lauren Perkins, Bryan Mason, Trevor Cancilla, Brandon Cancilla and their significant others. She is predeceased by her brother Frank.

Visiting hours will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2026, at DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 8, at Immaculate Conception Church, 216 E. Dunstable Road, NASHUA, N.H. KINDLY MEET AT THE CHURCH.
