She was the beloved wife to John (Rick) R. Quillman having been married for 55 years.
She was the loving sister to Cathy L. Montgomery (Larry); mother to Shawn R. Quillman (Erin), and Aaron J. Quillman; grandmother to Brennan, Braden, and Ethan.
Joanne loved Jesus, cherished her family, and was a passionate artist, crafter, and gardener. She loved so much when her family was with her and hearing about everything they are involved in. Her incredible art and craft works span multiple media from watercolor, pencils, inks, and oils to ceramics, quilting, sewing, basketry, floral, macramé, wood carving, and more. Anything she touched became a work of art. She loved her flowers and gardens, always surrounding herself with their beauty.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at 11:00 am at The Lakes Church, 1450 S. Hospital Road, Waterford, MI. The family will receive friends Friday, December 20, 2024, from 4:00-8:00 pm at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 340 N. Pontiac Trail, Walled Lake, MI and 10:00 am on Saturday, December 21 prior to the celebration of life service.
