Jody Lee "Yoda" Farrington

Jody Lee "Yoda" Farrington age 51 passed away Monday October 13, 2025. Jody was a graduate of Denison High School. He went into the Marines afterward and served in Hawaii and Okinawa Japan for 4 years. He loved his country and was proud to have served in the Marines. He worked with his father roofing houses during the summers. He loved being outdoors, fishing, and his family. Jody had a great joy being on the water, whether it was on the river or on the lake. He worked at BigLots Distribution Center until they closed.

Jody was proceeded in death by his father, Johnny Farrington; his grandparents, Lester and Ruby Farrington and grandfather, George Harrell.

He is survived by his mother, Debbie Farrington; his grandmother, Joyce Harrell; brother, Michael Farrington; daughter, Logan Miller and son, Drew Miller; his nephew, Chastin Farrington; Chastin's wife, Sara Farrington; nephew, Jordan Mills and his wife, Montana; great-nephews Zayden, Aydan, Xander, Wyatt & Tatum, and great-niece Brynn; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that knew him.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at Fisher Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
