I met Joe in 2006 as he was working as a poll worker at the polling place in St. John's Lutheran Church in Pittsburg. He was a fixture there for a lot of years and always enjoyed seeing old friends and making new ones. He and I became good friends over the next several years and we enjoyed visiting about a lot of topics but I know he made friends wherever he went because he was such a warm and caring person. When you read his obituary you see how much work he did in the pursuit of helping others. His was a life well lived and he will be greatly missed!!!!
