Joe Dalton Bice

Joe David "JD" Bice, age 95, passed away on January 4, 2026. He was born on April 17, 1930, in Gurley, Alabama, to Joe and Lillian Campbell Bice. JD was preceded in death by his parents and by his beloved wife, Betty Bice. He is survived by his brother, David Bice; nieces Raynee Hill (Bruce) and Tammy Eason; nephew Michael Bice (Kathy); great-nieces Paige Baker (Joe) and Christie Streeter; and great-nephew Adam Bice. In his younger years, JD loved music and joyfully sang while playing the piano and guitar. Above all, he loved the Lord and faithfully sang to Jesus, his Savior. He was devoted to reading his Bible daily and openly shared his faith with everyone he met. JD worked as a door-to-door salesman for Watkins Metal and Mason Shoes, a role that allowed him to connect with people wherever he went. JD will be deeply missed by his family and by his Kingwood Arms family, who were blessed by his kindness, faith, and gentle spirit. Manchester Funeral Home is honored to serve the Bice family.
