Joe Jesse Diaz, 62, of Fort Morgan, CO. passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2025 in Colorado Springs, CO.
He was born on July 16, 1962 to Ramon & Sara Diaz in Fort Morgan, CO.
Joe was a kind and loving man who loved his family over everything. He was always willing to help anyone in need and never asked for anything in return. He was so fun to be around and could drive you crazy and make you laugh all at the same time. He also had a green thumb that could nurse any plant back to life.
Joe loved to go fishing whether he was catching a ton of fish or just spending quiet time by the lake reflecting on life.
He was preceded in death by his wife Benita Diaz, his parents Ramon & Sara Diaz, brothers Raymond & Robert Diaz, and sister Toni Tamburello.
Joe is survived by his daughters Jonita & Shuree Diaz, granddaughters Imajin & Eris, his brother Ben Diaz, his sisters Mary Diaz, Ramona Castillo, Mary (cooka) Vasquez, Rose Diaz and lots of family and friends who will miss him dearly.
The memorial service for Joe will be on Thursday March 20, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at The Springs Funeral Home, 3115 E, Platte Ave. Colorado Springs, CO. 80909.
A Celebration of life will be from 2-6 p.m. at The Hillside Community Center 925 S. Institute Colorado Springs, CO. 80903.
