Joe Dunlap was my piano teacher for many years. He was always incredibly kind as a teacher and to my family. He helped to my develop a love to playing the piano that has lasted into my adult life. I now give piano lessons based on the principles that he used in lessons with me and other students. I hope to share his love of piano with my piano students. Rest In Peace.

I have waited to post as I know families need time to process their loss. As a retired employee at Joe's last residence I will say I really enjoyed seeing him on a daily basis. I first met Joe in 2002 when he entertained residents at my previous job. There is where he gave me his cd What a Wonderful World. He was surprised I knew he added Tubular Bells on one of his tracks. I will remember him and his sweet smile. Rest easy Joe.

My heartfelt condolences. I worked with Joe at Von Maur and have thought about him many times over the last few years. He was the kindest and his laughter always made me smile!

Deep peace to all family and friends who loved Joe. What a beautiful, lovely man! I had the privilege of making some music with him through my association with Shellie Jacobs. Joe's graciousness and GREAT talent made him a treasure. Rest with God, Joe.
