Joe Escabedo Obituary
Joe was an operator at Texaco/Star for over 26 years. Joe proudly served his country in the United States Army.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Carmen Ortega Escobedo of Port Arthur; daughters, Soledad "Solly" Escobedo of Port Arthur, Anna M. Escobedo Encinas and husband Michael of California, Gina Escobedo Gallet and husband Randal of Bridge City; sons, Mano "Joe" M Escobedo and wife Karen of Port Arthur, Ruben V. Escobedo of Port Arthur; three grandchildren, Raina V. Escobedo, Reya P. Escobedo and Rafa K. Escobedo; sister-in-law, Mary Ortega and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home from 5-8 PM. with a rosary at 6:30 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Rev. T.R. Blanco as celebrant, with interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
