Joe Kintzel Obituary

Joe was born on October 27, 1942 to Leonard L. and Margery A. (Adams) Kintzel in Warsaw, IN. He graduated from Atwood High School in 1960. He married Donna Miner on December 4, 1963 in Etna Green Evangelical United Brethren Church and she survives. He worked for Creighton Brothers and the local kids could tell stories about catching chickens for Joe. He was a member of the Etna Green Methodist Church, the Atwood Lions Club, and was an Etna Green Volunteer Fireman. He enjoyed farming, gardening, and all animals, but especially chickens.
Joe is survived by his wife, Donna Kintzel of Warsaw, IN; his son, Jim (Aimee) Kintzel of Warsaw, IN; his grandchildren: Erin Kintzel (Justin Brumfield) of Warsaw, IN; Chad Kintzel of Warsaw, IN; his great-grandchild, Bennett Kintzel; his sister, Dona Lou Lambright of Ohio; and his brother, Jack Kintzel of Warsaw, IN.
Joe is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Margery Kintzel.
Visitation services will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home (115 S. Main St., Bourbon, IN 46504) and Friday, March 14, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Etna Green Methodist Church (131 W Broadway St, Etna Green, IN 46524).
The funeral service will be held on Friday, March 14, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Etna Green Methodist Church (131 W Broadway St, Etna Green, IN 46524) with Kevin Gray officiating.
The burial will take place in Etna Green Cemetery (Etna Green, IN).
Memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation (5757 Waterford District Drive
Suite 310, Miami, FL 33126 or https://www.parkinson.org/) in Joe's honor.
