Joe Meadows, 69, of Dyersburg, Tennessee, died on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at his residence in Dyersburg, Tennessee.
Born Saturday, June 30, 1956 in Columbia, South Carolina, he was the son of Benny Meadows and the late Pat Ellis.

Joe was a hardworking man known for his dedication to his craft, his love for music, and his unwavering faith.

He was with several construction companies where he worked diligently and with integrity. He took great pride in every project, always striving to give his best and leave behind something lasting. His attention to detail and commitment to quality earned him the respect of clients and peers alike.

Outside of work, Joe found joy in playing the guitar. His musical talent was a blessing to many, especially at Independent Free Holiness Church in Dyersburg, where he was a faithful member. He used his gift to serve the Lord as part of the church worship music, lifting hearts and spirits through song.

Joe was devoted to his family and cherished the times that they shared and the memories they made.

Funeral services for Mr. Meadows will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Bro. Calvin Smith and Bro. Mac Daniels. Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church Cemetery in Ripley, Tennessee. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of nineteen years, Angie Johnson Meadows of Dyersburg, Tennessee; his father, Benny Meadows (Katherine) of Ripley, Tennessee; God-Daughter, Katelyn Russell of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one brother Scott Meadows (Anita) of Ripley, Tennessee, one sister, B.J. Henson (Donnie) of Halls, Tennessee; two god-grandchildren, Callahan Russell and Nash Lawrence.
Honoring Mr. Meadows as pallbearers will be Gerald Burns, John Harris, Steve Spires, Terry Cook, Mike Byrd, and Grant Schoonover.

Jody was a friend from Arp school thru high school! We graduated together.
He was always pleasant and had a sweet smile!
Im sorry to say Ive not seen Jody for years.
I have memories of him playing in the band with Steve Love, Steve Dedmon and Jack Scoggins.
