Joe Runions, age 81, of Wauconda, Illinois, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2025. Born on February 27, 1944, in Milan, Tennessee, Joe was a man of many talents and an unwavering sense of humor.

It was in Milan, Tennessee, that Joe met the love of his life, Pat. They were married on January 12, 1962, and soon after, they moved to Wauconda, Illinois, where they built their life together. They spent countless hours enjoying Bangs Lake, fishing, and boating.

Joe dedicated more than 30 years of his career to Multigraphics. Outside of work, he and Pat shared a love for adventure, riding motorcycles together for many years and participating in the annual Toys for Tots motorcycle parade. Joe's love for travel took him on many memorable trips to Florida, Wyoming, California, and his favorite destination, Myrtle Beach.

A true "jack of all trades," Joe was known for his creativity and ingenuity. He was a talented inventor, a natural fixer-upper, and had a passion for restoring classic cars. His diverse interests also included garage sale-ing, collecting guns, and tinkering with all kinds of electronic gadgets.

Joe's humor and big heart left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He loved to share a laugh, often sending funny videos, and he had a genuine fascination with the origins of Bigfoot. His kindness and generous spirit will be deeply missed.

Joe is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Pat; his two daughters, Penny Lavelle (Bill) and Pam Carroll (Mike); three grandchildren, Amber (Spanky), Katie, and Tyler; and three great-grandchildren, Anthony, Arianna, and Brayden.
