Joel Rolfs Obituary

Joel was born to the late James Howard and Patsy Ann (DeMasters) Rolfs on July 17th,1961. Joel enjoyed a long career in large equipment welding and wrapped up his career at Epiroc USA in Mosinee, Wisconsin. Joel enjoyed spending time with family, friends, fishing, hunting, and the outdoors.
In addition to his parents, Joel was preceded in death by his siblings; Sandy, Jan, Jill, Jamie, Mark, Bill, Kurt, Tim, and Scott. Joel is survived by his daughter(s) Kate Rolfs, & Brooke Corcoran; son Alex (Morgan) Rolfs; siblings Jeanene (Greg) Peterson, Bryan Rolfs, Bruce (Kim) Rolfs, and Lee (Sheila) Rolfs and many nieces and nephews.
He was known for his playful humor and always being someone who would lend a helping hand. "One of my favorite qualities about my dad is that he never judged or looked down upon anyone. He never wanted anyone to feel small." -Alex
To honor Joel's wishes there will not be a funeral. However, there will be a celebration of life to be scheduled at a later date.
We'd like to send a special thanks to Aspirus Wausau Hospice care team and the Wisconsin Rapids Aspirus Hospital staff for their continued care and support for Joel and his family.
