Joetta Larkin was born August 30, 1949, in Pittsburgh, PA to Robert Larkin and Martha Larkin Pugh.

She attended school in the Pittsburgh Public School district. Over the span of her career, she held various positions at a thermal window company and the Volkswagen Car Plant.

She was married to Robert Taylor, Sr., and although their marriage ultimately ended in divorce, they maintained a friendship until his passing.

Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering spirit touched the lives of all who knew her. Joetta will be remembered for her loving heart, sense of humor, and the joy she brought to those around her. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

During her life, she built lasting relationships and left behind cherished memories that will forever remain in the hearts of her loved ones. Though she is no longer with us, her legacy endures in the stories shared and the love felt by family and friends. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

In addition to her parents and stepfather Wilbert Pugh, Joetta was preceded in death by her sister, Roni Pugh, brother, Vernus Pugh and grandson, Robert Taylor III.

She leaves behind to cherish her loving memories her two children: Dawn Green (Gary) and Robert Taylor, Jr.; grandson, Re'Vaughn Taylor, four great-grandchildren: Syana Taylor, Adain Taylor, China Taylor and Re'Vaughn Taylor, Jr; four siblings, Isabelle Pugh, Wilbert Pugh, Charles Pugh and Toni Reed (Larry): and a host of nieces, nephews.
