Joey M. Dorsey, 40, a native of Lockport, LA and a resident of Cut Off, LA, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2025.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 11 am in Holy Savior Mausoleum, Lockport, LA with a gathering to follow at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 719 7th St. Lockport, LA.
Joey is survived by his girlfriend, Jerrica Bruce; children, Adley, Willow, Paige and Si; father, Darrel J. Dorsey; step-mother, Kerry “Kay” Danos; sister, Lindsey Dorsey; step-sisters, Kaylee Danos and Leah Danos; brothers-in-law, David Hryniewich and Lane Picou; nieces, Chloe, Caidence; nephews, Liam, Lukas, Levi and Lennox; aunts and uncles, Roddy and Connie Dorsey, Johnny and Maddie Adams, Glen Credur; cousins, Jared Dorsey (Jennifer), Adam Dorsey, Dillon Eymard (Hailey), Nicholas Adams (Daiane), Blake Credur and Rusty Credur.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lisa Danos; grandparents, Jimmy and Stella Dorsey, Curley and Bertha Credur; aunt, Belinda Credur; uncle, Buddy Dorsey; cousin, Cody Adams.
