Johanna "Anna" Chamorro, revered as a pillar of strength, bravery, and unyielding positivity, passed away on November 8th 2024. Born on December 29, 1969, Johanna was known for her warmth, generosity, and the undeniably loving spirit she brought into the world.
Johanna will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Raul Cardenas, who she was married to for 30 years, and her beloved children, Marlon Chamorro and his son Sam, Cindy Chamorro and her two daughters Cristina and Estrella, Betty Chamorro and her five children Isabelle, Angelica, Camila, Tino and Daniel, Junior Deleon and his three children Anthony, Evelyn and Romeo, David Deleon and his wife Abby and two daughters Kendall and Adrielly, Jonathan Deleon and his wife Carla. Also her brother Osmin, Cesar, Giovanny and sisters Laila, Karla, Lorna and Marion and her many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. She is joined in rest by her mother, Isabelle, her father, Manuel, and her grandmother Bertha, along with brothers Manuel, Rudy and Pedro. With a hefty family tree and a family consisting of both blood ties and bonds formed from the heart, Johanna's reach was as far as it was wide, and she was cherished deeply by many.
Even amidst the challenges life brought her way, Johanna never wavered in her compassion for others. She continued to support her family and extend a helping hand to anyone in need.
Her legacy is one of unyielding kindness and generosity. Even with little to spare, Johanna continued to give and help others. Even when sick or in pain, she never faltered in caring for her loved ones more than she did for herself.
A Celebration of Life for Johanna will take place on November 15th, 2024, at 9am to 12pm. Church service will be from 12pm to 2pm, both located at City Park Church. Those wishing to pay their respects and celebrate her life are welcomed.
Johanna's loss is deeply felt by her immense family and all those who knew and loved her. Her memory will continue to live on and inspire strength, resilience, and generosity in those whose lives she touched.
