Johanna Joyce Wolf of Eustis passed away Monday, February 24, 2025 at Meadowlark Pointe in Cozad, Nebraska at the age of 90. Johanna was born on March 27, 1934, in Lexington, Nebraska to Rasmus and Loucinda (Caller) Hansen Jr. Johanna graduated from Cozad High School in 1952 and went on to earn a teaching degree from Kearney State College. Her passion for education led her to teach country school in Dawson County for seven years.
She married Roger Wolf in Cozad in 1958. Together, they raised five children, instilling in them the values of hard work and family.
In 1978, Johanna and her family relocated to Colorado, where she continued her dedication to education by teaching preschool and providing in-home daycare. Later, she began a career with ICI Systems and CenCor Inc, where she assembled PC boards, soldered, wired, and built computers.
In the 1990s, Johanna moved back to Eustis and eventually retired. Throughout her life, she had many hobbies and interests. She loved to travel, enjoyed baking, and cherished the time spent with her family, whom she considered the most important aspect of her life.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication to her family and community, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Johanna was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Kimberly Morrison; and sisters, Imogene Buss and Arlene Beans.
Survivors include her children, Kurt (Rita) Wolf, Brent (Dana) Wolf, Brian (Connie) Wolf and Chris (Becky) Wolf; son in law, Mike Morrison; 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and many other extended family and friends.
Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation. Services will be held Friday, February 28, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at the Berryman Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Cozad Cemetery. Visitation with family present will be Thursday, February 27, 2025 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Berryman Funeral Home.
