John Auletta, son of the late Jean and John Auletta was born on March 28,1960 in Newark, NJ. His early childhood education was received at St. Mary's in Newark, NJ and he graduated from Central High School, also in Newark.
John was a hard worker. He had various occupations, the most recent being in the food retail industry. He had a tremendous love for sports. His favorite teams included the Jets, Knicks, Mets and Rangers. He was also an avid reader of the Daily News.
John was loved by all for his infectious laugh and contagious smile. For those who were lucky enough to know him, you also know that he wore his heart on his sleeve, just like his jewelry.
Proceeding John in death, are two sisters Jonsye Auletta and Jayme Graham.
John leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Dora Freeman-Auletta; one son John Auletta Jr.; two stepsons LaMont Freeman, daughter-in-law Kia Freeman and LaMar Freeman; four brothers, Jeffrey Auletta, Sean Auletta, Jack Auletta, sister- in-law Mae Auletta and Ronal Auletta; Nieces and Nephews; Great Nieces and Great Nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.
Special acknowledgment to Lauren Marricco, whose continual support and love brought John immense joy.
