John Richard Beyer

John Richard Beyer, 68, of Centreville, Virginia, left this world on August 18th, 2025 at Fairfax Hospital, Virginia, after a lengthy battle with compounding health issues.

John "Johnny" Beyer was born in Banaue, Philippines. Ifugao in blood and spirit, he approached life with humor and quiet determination. At 27, he came to the United States to build a life for his young family. Led by his curiosity and an openness to others, he worked as a driver - a journey that carried him to new places and connected him with people from all walks of life.

Life brought Johnny both joys and struggles, and he met them with grit. With his guitar never far from reach, he filled gatherings with song and laughter. He loved to tinker with gadgets and delight in simple finds from the dollar store. Because of him, his children grew up with wonderful memories of spontaneous road trips all across the continent.

He will be fondly recalled as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose love, humble spirit, and music live on in those who forever remember him.

Johnny leaves behind his loving wife, Rechilda Quintos Beyer; his daughter Jaimie Hopper and her husband Allen, along with their children Canon, Levi, and Sky; his son David Beyer and his wife Yazminh, and their children Adam, Lu, and Oliver; and his son Jorge Beyer and his wife Monique, and their children Abram and David.

He is reunited in heaven with his parents, William and Pacita Beyer; his brothers William, Otley, and Victor Beyer; his sister Catherine Mendiola; and his grandson Roman Beyer.
