John Floyd Bisher, 63, of Romney, passed away Tuesday December 3, 2024, at IU Health Arnett.
He was born March 7, 1961, in Lafayette to the late Kenneth W. and Patricia L. (Graham) Bisher. John was a graduate of William Henry Harrison High School and a veteran of the United States Navy, where he served on the USS Enterprise (CVN-65). In 1986, John married Carol S. Davis in Otterbein.
John was proud of his career as a Critical Care Flight Paramedic. He was also a paramedic for other local services. Prior to becoming a paramedic, John worked in construction which cultivated his love of woodworking. Aside from woodworking, he also enjoyed golfing and hunting and was an avid Cubs and Purdue sports fan.
Along with his wife, Carol Bisher, John is survived by his 2 children, Lindsay (Brian) Foster of Brownsburg and Brett (Kelsey) Bisher of Lafayette; 3 grandchildren, Claire Foster, Cannon Bisher, and Landry Bisher; 3 brothers, Robb Bisher, Mike (Terri) Bisher of West Lafayette; and David (Angela) Bisher of Battle Ground.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Patricia Bisher, as well as 2 sisters, Kendra Crace and Jane Bisher.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until time of service at 12:00 pm, Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at Soller-Baker, Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd., Lafayette, IN 47909.
Interment will follow at Pond Grove Cemetery, 11020 E. 1050 N, Otterbein, IN 47970.
