John D. Bruce

John D. Bruce, age 73 of Elkland, PA passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at UPMC Susquehanna Williamsport. Born on February 6, 1949 in Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Jack and Ruth (Dinneny) Bruce. John liked being outdoors; he enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. He also liked spending time with his family. John is survived by his son, Michael Bruce of Elkland, PA; daughter, Michelle Cook of Westfield, PA; grandchildren, Nathan Washburn, Jennifer (Michael) Spong, Jesse (Britany) Washburn, and McKenna Cook (Josh); several great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and sister, Rosemary Hackett. He was preceded in death by both his parents; wife, Judy (Graff) Bruce; sister, Nancy Grapevine; and brother, Phillip Bruce. There will be no services held at this time.
