John Given Brumley, 74, of Philpot, passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at Twin Rivers Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born May 15, 1951 in Daviess County to the late James and Anna Nugent Brumley. John had worked for a medical equipment company in sales and enjoyed traveling and golfing. He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. John was also preceded in death by two brothers, Ronnie Brumley and James Brumley II.
Surviving are two sons, Chris Brumley (Lacy) of Owensboro and Matthew Brumley (Jennifer) of Newburgh, Indiana; four grandchildren, Duane Lane, Hunter Brumley, Hayden Brumley, and Aiden Brumley; three brothers and a sister, Larry Brumley of Florida, and Paul Brumley, Andy Brumley, and Sandra Layne, all of Owensboro; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5 PM until 7 PM Friday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
