John Joseph Carlesimo, age 94, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, December 27, 2022.
He was born in Detroit, MI, on June 18, 1928, the son of the late Claria and Angelo Carlesimo.
John is the loving father of Angelo (MaryKae), Julie Chopp (Bruce), and the late Gino; beloved grandfather of Tony, Gary, Jordan, Dominic, Jon, and Caleigh; dearest great grandfather of Mara; fondest brother of the late Larry.
Dad was a business owner in Farmington Michigan, the business is called Carlesimo Products which manufactures underground cement products. The business is still operational and has provided many years of production and delivery throughout Michigan. He has so many fond memories of people that have come into his life and has made lifelong friends. Hold on to those memories.
Over his lifetime Dad enjoyed snowmobiling, hunting, fishing, and playing cards. His true passion was Thoroughbred horse racing at the Detroit Race Course and several other states. Dad was well known in the horse racing association as the owner of Fortuna Stables.
Dad, rest in peace
Love Angelo, Gino and Julie
