John “Tenni” Centanni, Jr.

 John “Tenni” Centanni, Jr., 70, of Fort Pierce, Florida, passed away on September 24, 2024. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and raised in Upper Darby, PA, John lived a full life marked by his passions and deep connections with family and friends.

 A proud graduate of Upper Darby High School, he was a dedicated member of the Operating Engineers Union, Local 542. John’s love for the ocean was evident in his deep-sea fishing adventures, and he delighted in sharing his culinary talents with loved ones. His passion for travel and his devotion to animals brought him great joy throughout his life.

 He is survived by his mother, Elvira Centanni (nee Concordia); his beloved partner of 18 years, Teresa “Terry” Roselli; his children, Gina Le (nee Centanni) and her husband Huey, Amy Centanni, Marco Centanni and his wife Valerie Scarfone, and Cherie Centanni. John also leaves behind his stepchildren, Raymond and Lisa Hinze, and Elizabeth and Ryan Sweeney, along with his cherished grandchildren: Jasmine, Jessica, Olivia, Brooke, Ryan, Sean, Gabriel, Zachary, and Vera. He was preceded in death by his father, John Centanni, Sr., and his grandmother, Connie Centanni (nee Finelli).

 A visitation will be held on Friday, October 11, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with a service to follow at 1:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home in Fort Pierce. Burial will take place at White City Cemetery.

 John will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. In honoring his life, let us remember the laughter, kindness, and joy he brought into our lives.
