Helen, Kevin and Marsha -- Tamra and I were very saddened to hear of John's passing. We will always remember him as full of energy; his eyes bright, sharp and happy. He was a great man who achieved many things and inspired many people. I feel so fortunate to have been able to sit and talk with him. John was so generous with his time, and it is my great regret that I was not able to get his fascinating life story into print while he was here to see it. Our deepest condolences go out to each of you.

Dear Family, I am so incredibly sorry for the loss of John. The huge loss is felt by anyone who knew him. I only met him 3 wks ago and he was so gracious when it was obvious he wasn't feeling well. He was so kind to a fan who was starstruck. He will be so missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family

I had the privilege of meeting John just last year. He was a very humble man considering his Shelby design achievements and his contributions to the Shelby legacy. He will be missed!
