John Cifrodella Sr (1940 - 2025)

John Cifrodella Sr, 84 of Brick Twp, NJ, devoted husband and father of 3 children, died peacefully in his home on July 24, 2025.

He was born in Newark, NJ, in 1940 to Nazarena and Samuel Cifrodella and lived in Bellville, NJ, until he married Stella Longo, also of Bellville, NJ, and moved to Brick Twp, NJ, in 1966.

John was a loving and generous husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose life was centered around faith and family. Throughout his life, he led with unwavering devotion, always putting his loved ones first in everything he did. As the strong patriarch of our large, close-knit extended family, he was the one everyone turned to-dependable, wise, and always there when you needed him.

His greatest pride and joy was his family, and the deep love he shared with his beloved Stella was the foundation on which our family was built. That love continues to grow and live on in all of us.

John was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus, served in the NJ National Guard for 5 years, and was a loyal and loved parishioner of the Church of Epiphany in Brick Twp, New Jersey.

A successful entrepreneur and respected business owner, John founded and operated Federal Pacific Equipment with determination and integrity. His legacy is not only in his accomplishments, but in the values, morals, and love he instilled in all who knew him. He will be deeply missed, but the example he set will continue to guide our family for generations to come.

John was survived by his brother Tom Cifrodella; his son Sam Cifrodella and daughter-in-law Audrey; son John Cifrodella Jr and daughter-in-law Angia; daughter Andrea Caldes and son-in-law Rich; his grandchildren Sam and Richard Cifrodella; Nick and Maya Cifrodella; Miles and Cole Dawson; Taylor Alvarez and husband Andrew; Holly, Nick, and Sarah Caldes; and his sisters-in-law Judy Loutraris; Dottie Cooper and husband Eddy; and Donna Brahn and husband Russ; as well as many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

He was welcomed into eternal life by his wife Stella, the love of his life, his grandson Randy, the light of his life, and his brother-in-law John Loutraris.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Silverton Memorial Funeral Home, 2482 Church Road, Toms River, NJ 08753.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2025 at 10:00am at Church of the Epiphany, 641 Thiele Road, Brick, NJ 08724.

Entombment will follow at St Joseph Cemetery, 56-80 Cedar Grove Road, Toms River, NJ 08753.
