John Charles Clukey of Holbrook, NY passed away on June 13th 2025 peacefully in his sleep. John was born in Queens, NY and grew up in Hicksville, NY. Born to parents Bernard and Gloria Clukey, along with his brother Robert. John married his one and only, Marie, on September 14th, 1974 and moved to Holbrook NY where they grew a family and had 3 girls JoAnne, Rebecca and Sarah. John enjoyed camping with his family. John and Marie also loved to spend their time in Vermont together relaxing at their trailer in beautiful nature where he was known as the mayor, which is no surprise because he was adored and loved by all. John and Marie also loved to go on cruises together. It is with complete certainty that his greatest love of all was his family. John loved his wife, 3 daughters and his 6 grandchildren with everything he had. Family truly meant everything to him. John dedicated his whole life to providing a good life and happy memories for his family. John will be remembered as the most doting and loving father and Grandpy. Someone who loved to make people laugh and someone who loved with their whole heart. The absolute best was taken from us and all that knew him will cherish his memory.
