John Corbett Obituary
John William Corbett, 74 of Lake Park, GA., died on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, in Valdosta, GA. He was born in Valdosta, to the late Robert Eugene and Catherine Isabelle Forbes Corbett. A retired electrician, John worked for many years at Occidental PCS in Hamilton County, Florida. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed spending time in nature.
Mr. Corbett is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, John W. II and Jodie Corbett of Scott City, MO; his sister, Sharon Wetherington of Jasper, FL; his brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Norma Jean Corbett of Valdosta, GA; his sister, Mary Sue Adams of Jasper, FL; and granddaughter, Maci Corbett of Scott City, MO. He is preceded in death by his brother David Corbett.
Mr. Corbett will be interred at Hickory Grove Cemetery in Lake Park alongside his family. Condolences to the family may be conveyed online at www.mclanecares.com. McLane Lakewood Funeral Home has been entrusted to care for the Corbett Family.
