Hello,
Searching this evening and found this obit.
Dr. Cunningham was a very special person for me. When my father took me to his office in that first day in 1965 ; he made me feel so relaxed.
After trying to treat my ear for 2+ years; O was referred to this doctor who saved my hearing and my life. I had a piece of pencil lead to through my eardrum; and in turn was diagnosed with mastoids in my right ear. Within two weeks, Dr Cunningham went into my ear cleaned out the mastoids, transplanted a home into my inner ear. After a long healing period, I had 80% hearing in that ear. I still to this day have to see an Otolaryngology specialist once a year ; that doctor says he has never seen an ear like mine. I have minimal drainage and only need minnimal cleaning.
I am so blessed that Dr Cunningham was available to operate and treat my ear that year. He was and still is an amazing man and an awesome doctor and I could never express the gratitude he deserves for saving my life that day. He will always carry a special place in my heart.
