Mr Daly was the best teacher I ever had. He treated us like adults at union hill in 1968. We were scared when we learned he was going to be our 6th grade teacher. No sweet talk. No hand holding. Yell at you when you needed to be yelled at. I was sad to leave his class to move on to providence jr high. Sleep warm Mr. Daly.

Remember this great teacher very well . It's funny to think he was only 35 or so when he taught me at Greendale. A favorite of many kids , I thought he was very funny . He really cared when he asked how you were . RIP Mr.Daly

I´m so sad to hear this news today. Mr. Daly was my 6th grade teacher and one of the best teachers I ever had, I´ve never forgotten him. Fast forward many years later and he was working at the funeral home the day of my Dad´s funeral. What a great comfort it was the morning of the funeral to see Mr. Daly and get a big bear hug from him. He will always hold a place in my heart. Sending love and prayers to his family and friends.

I am so sorry to hear of Mr Daly's passing. He was my 6th grade teacher at Greendale School in the 1970's. He was my absolute favorite teacher by far. He made learning so much fun, we didn't even realize we were learning. I will forever remember him fondly. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. May he rest in peace.

Mr. Daly had such a profound impact on me growing up. He was the most amazing grade school teacher I had ever had. He had a way of challenging each student individually. My condolences to all his loved ones.

Mr. Daly was "that" teacher for me! Pushed me hard, kept me engaged, and ultimately inspired me to teach as well. I will always treasure the memories of our Greendale whiffle ball tournaments with Daly and Carlson.
