John Gerard Daly

John Gerard Daly, 73, of Bonita Springs, Florida, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025.
John was born on May 4th, 1951. A proud member of Local 638, he worked as a steamfitter for many years before later enjoying his time at HomeGoods. John was a true family man who loved spending time with his loved ones, especially his grandson Logan. He had a playful spirit and a knack for pulling pranks, always bringing laughter to those around him.
Beloved husband of Naomi for 51 years. Loving father of Melanie (Keith) Neumann and the late Christopher. Cherished "Poppy" of Logan.
Beloved brother of Eileen, Dorothy and Joseph. Predeceased by his dear siblings George, Alice, William, Frank, Margaret, Kathy, Richie, and Geraldine.
John received a double lung transplant from Temple University in November 2001, a gift that gave him many more cherished years with his loved ones.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the UF Health Shands Transplant Center at UF Foundation, Inc., P.O. Box 14425, Gainesville, FL 32604-9949.
John will be deeply missed but forever remembered for his love, laughter, and the joy he brought to so many.
A celebration of John's life will be held at a later date.
