Dr. Lester Benjamin Fuller, DDS (April 3, 1931 – October 16, 2025), Naples, Florida.
Funeral Services and Mass of Christian Burial for Dr. Lester "Les" B. Fuller, DDS, 94, a resident of Naples, Florida will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church, 625 111th Ave N, Naples, FL 34108. The Mass will be livestreamed by visiting https://www.sjecc.org/funeral-mass/ Les will be laid to rest in the memorial garden at St. John the Evangelist Church in Naples. A luncheon for family and friends will follow the Mass in the Parish Life Center.
Les, formerly of Munster, IN, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Born in New Jersey to Irene (née Zaluska) Miller, he married Barbara Jean Wadas, daughter of Dr. John J. and Lottie Wadas, on June 6, 1959, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hammond, IN, sharing 66 years together.
Les practiced dentistry in Munster, IN, for 30 years. After retiring from the active practice of dentistry, Les and Barbara moved from Indiana to Naples, Florida, where he lived with Barbara until his death. Preceded in death by his mother, Irene, and his sister, Barbara Ellis, Les is survived by his wife, Barbara; children Michele (James) Kadavy of Davenport, IA; Susan Fuller of Eagan, MN; Patricia (Michael) Hiestand of Ferndale, WA; and Thomas (Anne Marie) Fuller of Munster, IN; 10 grandchildren-Kevan (Melanie); Elizabeth Brandt; Kathleen (Daniel) Blum; Grace Kadavy; Andrew (Katie) Lacher; Madeline (Joshua) Bolks; Jessica and Ally Hiestand; Samuel and Annemarie Fuller-and 7 great-grandchildren-Henry, Isabella, and Kamryn Kadavy; Beckett Brandt; Mason Lacher; Bennett Bolks; and Ivy Blum.
Les was a dedicated member of the St. John The Evangelist community, known for his kindness, generosity, as well as a few "strong" opinions. Les set a positive example for all who knew him as a devout daily Mass-going Catholic and part of the "McDonalds" gang after daily mass. Always up for an adventure, he loved boating and sailing time on the water at Crystal Lake in Wautoma, WI, small aircraft piloting, and walking and meeting strangers on the Naples' beaches for the past 30+ years.
