Marvin W. Spalti

Marv was 85 years old when he passed away and we shared 63 years of marriage together. Marv was not only my partner in life but also a true gentleman and a gentle man. He carried himself with quiet strength and grace, always placing the needs and stories of others before his own. To me, he was my safe harbor, my constant encourager, and the one who tenderly doted on me every single day of our journey together.
Together we raised two wonderful sons: David Spalti and his wife, Molly Leung-Spalti of Vancouver, Canada, and Jeffrey Spalti and his wife, Mary Clare of Framingham, Massachusetts. Marv took great joy and pride in our four grandchildren: Sarah and Jonathan Spalti of Framingham, and Dr. Matthew Spalti and Andrew Spalti of Vancouver, Canada. His love extended outward to his nieces and nephews as well-Heidi and Steve Boardman and their children, Joe and Jenna, as well as Sandy Barber and her daughters, Erica and Olivia, of Windsor, Connecticut.
Marv lived a full and vibrant life. He was an avid tennis player, finding joy in the rhythm of the game. He was a voracious reader of authors like Jack Reacher thrillers, always drawn to stories of mystery, suspense, and action. His mornings were often brightened by his cherished "MWF Coffee" gatherings with dear friends-a ritual that filled him with camaraderie and laughter. And true to his giving spirit, Marv gave of himself freely, always willing to lend a helping hand through volunteer and charity work.
Marv leaves behind a legacy of kindness, devotion, and quiet strength. His life was a testament to love-love for me, for our family, for his friends, and for the simple joys of daily living. Though I will miss his gentle presence beyond measure, I carry him in my heart always, grateful for the beautiful life we built together.
