John Anthony DeNicola Sr., a longtime resident of New Rochelle, NY passed away on May 12, 2025 at the age of 87, surrounded by his loving family. John was born on August 23, 1937 in the Bronx to Peter and Frances (Lombardo) DeNicola. John married Joan Feola on April 12, 1959 at St. Gabriel's Church in New Rochelle, NY.
John attended Iona College and was a delivery driver for Thomas' English Muffins for over 40 years, a proud Teamster and Shop Steward. He enjoyed attending his grandchildren's events, spending his summers at the VIP Club, playing cards, visiting Atlantic City, traveling, gardening and good food. John was a special fun-loving person who brightened everyone's day. His memory will forever be a blessing.
He will be missed by his loving children, John A. "Dino" (Melissa) DeNicola and Janine (Jeff) Gresham, cherished grandchildren, Dakota DeNicola, Thomas and Alexandra Gresham. Survived by his caring companion, Deb Mustich, sisters in law, Barbara (Mike) Caruso and Lorraine (Mick) Bombace, brother-in-law Jim Colangelo, and many nieces and nephews.
John was predeceased by Joan, his loving wife of 53 years, his parents Peter and Frances and his brother, Peter.
Friends may call Wednesday, May 21, 2025 from 4-8 at Westchester Funeral Home 190 E. Main St, Eastchester, NY. A Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at 10am in Holy Name of Jesus, 70 Petersville Rd, New Rochelle, NY. Interment will be in Beechwoods Cemetery, New Rochelle, NY.
