John Gerald “Jerry” Deubler, 87, of Roosevelt, Utah, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.
Jerry is lovingly remembered by his wife, Mary Margaret; and by a family that meant everything to him—his sons, Melvin and Kevin; his grandchildren, Amber, Brandon, and Tracee; and his great-grandchildren, Sloane and Stevie. He is also survived by his brother, Charles Deubler; and sister, Margaret Sexton; along with many extended family members including his stepchildren, Maria Lira, Jim Cochran, Connie McDonald, and Gayla Keel; and countless friends who will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Shirley Naomi Deubler; and his parents, John and Harriet Deubler.
Born in Grand Junction, Colorado, on May 21, 1938, Jerry graduated from Weber High School in 1957 and went on to become a journeyman plumber. He built a long and respected career in the trades, operating his own business, JD Plumbing & Heating, before retiring from the Ogden City School District.
