John Dion Davis

Davis, John. Age 56. Loving father of Austin, Blaize & Christina. Proud Papa of JonMarco. Dearest brother of Terri(Greg)Miller, Raymond(Victoria)Davis, Mechelle(Ryan) Bertollini, Tanya(Larry)Caine, Nicka(Robah)Davis Flynt, Michael Davis, Orville Ray Jr. & the late Sean Davis. Former spouse of Sandy (April Nihranz)Manzella-Davis.Beloved son of the late Clara & the late Orville Ray Davis and his surviving wife Sheryl Davis. Also survived by many loving nieces & nephews.
John Davis was well known through out the Warren Woods School district where his three children attended school. John was known for being a big part of parent teacher counsel and band boosters through out the children's school years, running numerous events. He was known for his great energy and having a loud mouth that everyone loved.

John had a long career at Manzella's fruit market. It was a staple in the community of St. Claire Shores for many years. He was well known for his giant subs that he would bring to many events, family parties, and gatherings. John was currently working at Vince and Joes gourmet market as the bakery director. He was very loved by all the employees. John will be missed by all the staff and friends he has made an impact on over the years of hard dedicated work. As previously being the deli manager, John took so much pride in everything he made for every customer. It was his pride and joy.

In John's free time, he loved to spend time around his children. John always attended sporting events, band events and anything else in between. He enjoyed being out on the water with his friends and family.

John enjoyed spending countless hours with the children of his good friends, Neil and Sue Cusumano. Ella Rosa, Malia and Joey were the highlight of his life. The children loved to call him Uncle John. Although, John did not have much time with his newly born grandson, JonMarco, he was Johns pride and joy. John made sure to call Christina every morning to see how his little man was doing.

As John parts ways with us here on Earth, he will not only be missed by his children and loving family, but by every single person that he has touched over the years. His memories will forever live on with everyone he has impacted over the last 56 years.

Memorial visitation Sunday 2-7pm with 6:00pm Prayer & Sharing of Memories at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons 54880 Van Dyke at 25 Mile Rd. (Shelby Township).
