John William Drcar JR.

John William Drcar, Jr., born May 19, 1952, passed away on March 3, 2024 at University Hospitals in Willoughby, Ohio. He was surrounded by family and friends at the time of his passing.
He was the beloved son to the late Mary C. (nee Centa) and John William Sr. John is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Mary Jo (Hollis) Drcar; children, Brooke Slater (Hugh) and John William III "J.D." (Stephanie); cherished Papa to Charlie and Wes; also survived by his sister, Marian Meyers (Allen); brother-in-law, Art Hollis (Jan); and uncle to A.G. Hollis, Britt Hollis, Alison (Hollis) Volkmann, Chris Meyers and Ken Meyers. He will also be greatly missed by his "FURever" friend, Jack.
John was a graduate of Cathedral Latin High School and attended Kent State University. John spent the majority of his career at The Industrial Machine Co. and Cleveland Universal Jig Division in Euclid, Ohio. He retired from Veteran Development and Construction Company in 2024.
The family will receive friends at Brickman Bros. Funeral Home, 37433 Euclid Ave. in Willoughby, on Sunday, March 10 from 2-6 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 11, 2024 at 11 AM at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Road, Mentor.
Burial will take place at Willoughby Memorial Gardens in Willoughby.
