John was born March 13, 1942 in Milwaukee Wisconsin to Forest and Esther Eagleburger. He passed into the arms of Jesus on August 13, 2022. He grew up in Milwaukee and started saving at a young age by doing a paper route because he always knew he wanted to be a mechanical engineer. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin and went to work for Goodyear tire and rubber company in Akron, Ohio. His career took him to; Oklahoma, Michigan, Tokyo, Japan, and back to Akron where he retired with 39 years of service. John loved to run 6 miles, hike, motorcycles, cars, painting, Piloting A Cessna, and worked in the garage. John was a Christian and loved children. He served in the Sunday school class teaching four-year-olds. He served for 15 years at the local Rescue Mission. John always did the right thing, a great man of integrity. He was devoted to his family and job. John is survived by his wife Barbara, children Kimberly (Michael) and Kenneth. Grandchildren: Taylor (Hampton), Jacob, Faith, and Jonathan. Sisters: Barbro (Thomas), brother-in-law Kenneth and sister-in-law Donna. He was preceded in death by his parents, Forrest and Esther, his sisters Kay Lynn, And Karen Rae, and his special aunt Blanche. Service will be held August 20, 2022 at noon at Shadow Hills church, student center with a reception to follow. Memorial donations may be made to Shadow Hills church, children's ministry. Thank you to all the awesome caregivers and staff at Avenir Memory Care, Charles and Natalie Rath, Richard Shaw, and Shadow Hills churches deacons for phone calls every week, Chapel in Marlboro, Ohio (adult Bible study.) and many many prayers from loved ones. Favorite Bible verse John 14:6 "I am the way the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father except through Me. "
