John (Jack) Falkenhagen passed away Friday May 10, 2024 at 6:50pm at Kent General Hospital in Dover Delaware at the age of 75.
John was born on March 22, 1949 in Freeport Long Island NY. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Ruth Gibson-Falkenhagen as well as his five kids, Maryanne, Annmarie, Irene, Judith, and Joseph and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In heaven he joins his father, mother, brothers, sister, nephew, aunts and grandparents.
John worked at General Motors as a fork truck mechanic until he retired in 1999, and after that he was a full time grandfather and husband. During his retirement he enjoyed fishing, working on cars, going boating, and spending time with his family.
A burial and a celebration of life will be in New Jersey at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you send cards or pictures or memories that you may have of John.
