Joe certainly made his mark here in New York. He was a foreman and labored in the concrete union for many years. On Joe's off hours, he worked hard at becoming an entrepreneur of owning his own pub. He built a very successful business. All his hard work and success was an inspiring example for his extended family to achieve their goals in life. For that, we are all truly grateful.
Joe and "love of his life "Peggy retired to Pearl River, NY. They took great pride in caring for their home inside and out. Inside their home had beautiful woodwork which Joe took great contentment working on. The outside of their home was meticulous. He enjoyed the fresh air and found it satisfying. The landscaping was a piece of art. Joe took pride, time and patience in his business, home and his relationships with family and friends. There was no idle time for Joe. He used the value of time to his advantage.
We are truly honored to call Joe, husband, brother, uncle and cousin. We certainly witnessed all that he accomplished and how hard he worked to achieve it. He paved the path showing us how to do it.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 9, 2024 from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. in Joseph W Sorce Funeral Home, 34 N Summit St, Pearl River, NY10965.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 10, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. in St. Aedan Church, Pearl River, NY 10965.
Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY.
