John Harold Galbreath, passed away on February 13, 2026.

Born in York, Pennsylvania, in 1934 he graduated from William Penn Senior High School and continued on to his degree from Gettysburg College.

He was predeceased by his parents Paul Calvin and Helen May Coffman Galbreath, his brother Paul Coffman Galbreath, his sister and brother-in-law Joan and William Gladfelter, and his niece, Cathy L. Littner. He is survived by nieces Susan Kostalas and Patti Gladfelter, nephew David Littner, great nieces and nephew, great great nieces and nephews and a great great great niece.

John was a United States Army veteran, later employed by and retired from IBM.

John was an avid writer and reader. His mind was constantly filled with thoughts, information and data. He was comfortable and pleased with the life he led.

Services will be private.
