John A. Gallagher, Jr., 73, of Baden, passed on Thursday, April 22, 2021.
Husband of the late Karen Wolfe Gallagher and beloved father, John D. (Rebecca) Gallagher; and step-father, Melissa Wolfe. Loving grandfather, Garrett and Liliana Gallagher, Lucas Matesic and Layla Doran; Step-son of, Louise Gallagher; brother, Jeff (Jodi) Gallagher; and step-brother of, Ruth Ellen Roney and Sue (Jeff) Ware. Also numerous nieces and nephews.
John was a 1966 graduate of Washington High School and then served his country as a Sergeant in the Marine Corps, serving in Vietnam and being awarded the Purple Heart.
Friends received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday in Hershberger-Stover Inc. Funeral Home, 170 Noble Avenue, Crafton, where funeral service will be Wednesday at 11:45 a.m. Interment, with Marine honors, will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
If desired, memorials may be made to ALS Association Western PA Chapter, 416 Lincoln Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15209.
