John Gilde Obituary

He had worked as a precision machinist at American Tool & Die in Cadillac and retired in 2008. He enjoyed living on the Clam River, hunting, fishing, bird watching, taking walks, and riding his Harley. He enjoyed anything that had to do with the outdoors.
John is survived by his wife; Denise Ann Gilde of McBain, children; John Gilde IV of Lake City amd Traci Gilde of LeRoy, stepchildren; Megan (Jeff) Woolston of Holt, and Zoey (Kaine) St. Amour of Grand Rapids, one grandson, three granddaughters, 3 great-granddaughters, brother in-law; James Baldwin of Berea, KY and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Terri Gilde, sisters; Doreen Baldwin and Geraldine Fay (Dale) Boonstra, nephews; Teddy Medendorp and John Medendorp.
Per John's wishes no services will be held at this time. Funeral arrangements were handled by the Burkholder Family Funeral Home in McBain.
