John Gilleece Obituary
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 from 1-3pm at Anderson Funeral Home.
Johnny was born on November 27, 1970 in Beaufort, SC. He is the son of the late James P. Gilleece and Velma Urben Gilleece.
Surviving are three brothers, James, Joseph and Gary Gilleece; one sister, Dawn Richard.
His partner Rebecca and her sons Thomas and Marcus, whom he regarded as his own.
Johnny was a man that would bend over backwards for those that he loved and he never met a stranger. He pushed through the trials he was given and fought up until the end. Johnny was a bright light in the lives of everyone who had the fortune to meet him. He will be sorely missed.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to your local animal shelter. Johnny was a huge animal lover and always wanted to get stray dogs and cats off the streets.
